Go to the dollar store. Get foam ear plugs and a sleep mask. Done. You’re ready.
Next, find a place without distractions. Ear plugs and eye mask will help. Lie down and get comfortable.
Next, slow breaths to relax. Observe thoughts and senses. Let them all go. Submerge. Repeat as a habit daily. Make it a priority. Plan a continuous schedule for a year to begin.
End of instruction.
When I first began meditating, I did so with guided meditations and clearings. My mind was constant chatter. I needed a focal point to listen to in order to quiet my own internal thought dialogue.
Within the first few weeks of guided meditations, I experienced episodes of emotional release and crying. Not an anticipated response. I was quite surprised. So, I kept with it.
Eventually, I developed a method that worked for me as outlined above. I tried sitting asanas but I could never fully relax.
Then I met a man who could astral travel out of body. He used the same method. He simply layed down and relaxed in order to leave his body. That got me thinking. If I can just lay down and learn to meditate, no one would even be aware I was meditating. I would never be on display in the act, but would simply appear as resting or napping. This removed any stressor of having to explain to anyone around me what I was doing.
Sometimes, especially initially, I would fall asleep. But, I would always stay flat on my back. I’m a side sleeper, so remaining on my back is my asana, so to speak. Eventually, another world began to open up to me.
States of consciousness cannot be consciously observed without creating an environment in which to do so. To experience the five senses within an environment other than Earth requires the above instructions. That’s it. Pretty simple. The only other requirement is patience and persistent practice.
One day in a sitting meditation, within the blackness of sight, I suddenly shot up into space and saw an entire universe, its central sun and all of its stars slowly rotating counter clockwise. I sat there in space as an observer for a few moments, then whoosh, I was back in my body. I was so surprised, I told my friend asking her if these things happen in meditation. She said “Yup.” Wow. I was sold.
So, I kept practicing. Morning and night. I got to the point where I could quiet my mind to no thought. It was around this time that as I was relaxed in meditation, suddenly my internal visual field would switch to a video playing of a scene through the eyes of others in a light green hue. At first it would only last a few seconds but progressed as I was able to hold that state longer.
I experienced being a parent on a bench at some park with their child in a stroller. I saw scenes of riding a bike in a neighborhood. I even had scenes through the eyes of a bird flying over buildings and trees. I started to call this vision my “green screen.”
I kept practicing. I noticed one day within the darkness of my mind I saw a tiny flicker of light. Hmmm…..that was weird I thought. So I kept looking knowing I saw it and it flickered again. That began a sort of game of hide and seek in a way. I would look for this tiny light, see it, then it would be gone. I kept at it until I figured that I was needing to focus out and in, like a telescope kind of. Oh my……there it is! This tiny little flicker of light. I called it my inner star.
Eventually as I kept observing this inner star it began to move and I would have to track it within the darkness within. This felt weird at first and would actually make the front of my head hurt a bit. But I would follow it and play its game. Then one day a thought entered my mind while observing this inner star. That thought was “the north star, the guiding light.” From that day forward, what came from that star was waves of multicolored light projecting towards me and into me. I called this light “the rainbow light.”
By this time, I had probably been practicing meditation for a few years, maybe three. Within meditation I was seeing this star and a web-like matrice of light surrounding it. I opened my eyes and I realized I could see this star and this matrice in the space within a room. I was seeing the internal within the external. That was a weird beginning to something quite wonderful.
So, I began going out into the world and viewing my star and this matrice of light in various locations with my eyes open. I realized that if I could tune into it with my eyes closed in meditation, I could do the same with my eyes open. Meditation thus became a state to just enter upon. It took some time practicing this, much like riding a bike. In a way, I did not know what I was doing, but did, however oxymoronic that sounds. I cannot tell you how many times I said to myself “This is crazy.” But, there it was. Undeniable.
Then one day sitting at a park practicing, I was looking at grass. What was just a random section of grass growing suddenly became ordered sections of grass lined up perfectly when I looked at it with the matrice in view. I began to realize that what I had been practicing to see within the darkness of meditation was really just a prerequisite practice for tuning into or focusing into a state of vision utilizing an apparatus unbenounced to me. That apparatus is what some call the third eye. I like to call it just spiritual vision.
So, I looked up into the sky and thought if grass shows that, what is in the sky? It took some effort to focus, but what appeared was thousands of tiny lights scurrying in all directions. It took my breath away. I wore sunglasses so no one else around could see what I was doing. I called them fireflies with their lights always on. I would unfocus and look at all the empty space in the sky. Then refocus and see them all again. Over and over I did this. I thought to myself who am I going to be able to tell about this? This is amazing.
Then some thing else happened while looking at the fireflies of light scurrying around. I saw a flash of light out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look but didn’t see anything. Then I saw it move. Deeper into the distance of the sky I saw a point of light moving slowly then stopping. It flashed again. My jaw dropped. I sat there staring at it. Then another point of light shot past it just above the first. The speed shocked me. I stopped and rubbed my eyes. I looked again scanning the sky. What I saw was these points of light all over in the sky. Some moving, some stationary. Rays of light radiated out from their point.
The park became my new environment for “meditation.” I began to realize that meditation is understood only from a point of immersion across time. It can be utilized for many things. It is not just for relaxation. There comes a point in the practice of meditation where the meditative state is simply entered upon at will. It is like remembering a batter’s stance in a way. It takes less effort the more it is done.
Meditation is also an environment for activation. Those latent abilities that lie within each of us only requires a certain dedication of involvement. Only your presence is required. There is no cost involved, ever, for anything of a spiritual nature.
What occurred with me ongoing still continues to grow today. I am nobody special and that is the point. What came to my realization was that everything that came to me through meditation practice, all of the spiritual gifts involved, are freely available for anyone. This message is super important! There is no profit to be made from something that originates from a creationary source. It is simply given to those who show up.
The thought occurred to me to create books and products to sell on how to develop etheric vision. How to activate latent abilities within. How to meditate. That point of consideration is a fork in a road. Nope. It loses its integrity. Best to give away that which is freely given.
What occurred to me over time was that there is much in this world that is unseen. All the books in the world and all the gurus can help, but the simplicity of clearing all knowing through meditation opens vistas of truth that cannot be learned from an Earthly source. It all happens within each individual. The more one can venture within, the more that is revealed.
Few have the dedication or willingness to persist. The pursuit of power is also an issue and can create subtle and gross road blocks. The spirit of unity is a knowing of the birthright of all individuals upon this planet. It is not reserved for the few. It is available to all.
The above message is paramount. I found it difficult to find this message in Earthly sources. There was always a mixture of complexity, pre-requisites, financial expectations, something to buy, a certification to have. It didn’t make any sense to me. How can something that is freely available be bought and sold? One does not have to enter those arenas. All one needs is the simple at the beginning.
For there are beings of higher nature all around us. They can be seen. They are here to assist all of us. They respond to the meditator as they can read the heart of every human on Earth. If sincere and with a sense of love, there are no limits to the education of a soul within a life upon Earth. The methods of communication bridging the human consciousness experiencing and the higher divine aspects of reality and being are not limited to what we perceive as the physical. Apparatus functioning exists beyond our understanding. Learing to “ride our individual bikes” takes the willingness and practice to get on that bike. It’s as simple as going within.
“It can’t be that simple!” Really? Why would God make a birthright something that can only be attained via a profit system? That system actually creates a state where someone can believe that they cannot attain that spiritual goal otherwise. Worse yet is the belief that said profit system wares purchased somehow elevates another above the rest of humanity. All of this occurs today, its subtle and gross misconceptions unseen. It was always supposed to be simple. It was always supposed to be free.
A teacher appears and says meditate daily twice a day. Do that and eventually another teacher appears. Point your soul to the stars and light and miracles will appear. Trust, give faith to the act, and believe. There is and was a you greater than the you you know today. This is the way to reconnect with that which we all forgot. A family tree from a God there be. We all are family.
